MBSR consists of a series of easy to learn techniques and tools such as breathwork, movement, body scans, focused meditation, improved communication,boundary setting and other practices. The key word is practice. We want to practice our learned skills so they are handy at times of stress or upset. Trying to apply them in the moment, without the practice benefit of the skills becoming semi automatic doesn't fully work. The rewards are great and and the practices worthwhile to make the inevitable stress in our lives more manageable
